Product Topology App
The aim is to improve team planning by providing a single source of truth for product teams, enabling greater visibility and understanding of team structures across Elanco. Led and expanded by a team of student engineers and a student product manager. Started out as a side project that grew into a company-wide platform whilst retaining the charm of a student-led product.
ElancoGPT
ElancoGPT was developed by a former placement student through the UK student programme. The platform supports activities that would previously have required external vendors (e.g., translations, content creation, and code assistance) and is delivering measurable efficiency gains, including a 70% reduction in time spent on routine tasks, over 140,000 hours saved, and an estimated ROI exceeding $6.7 million.
