Marketing Associate

Marketing is a core function within Elanco in which our Marketing Associates play a valued role and make a significant contribution to our UK business. Our comprehensive student placements offer hands-on experience of how marketing theory is applied in practice in the animal health industry. This is a great opportunity to gain a broad understanding of a large corporate environment, an understanding of marketing, insight into the animal health pharmaceutical industry and influencing the business with your own knowledge and skills. Our Marketing Associates will have the opportunity to work either within Pet Health or Pig & Poultry business areas.

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

To assist in the management and maintenance of marketing systems
Share ideas on current advertising
Creation of marketing literature and promotional items
Develop knowledge of the disease area and brands
Contribute to team projects
Assisting in event planning
Individual project management
Liaise with external stakeholders to secure supply and delivery of key marketing materials
Support development of print and digital marketing campaigns including social media

Required characteristics

Ability to work within a fast-paced organisation
Highly organised and driven
Ability to bring new ideas to the business
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Presentation skills
Interest in the animal health industry

Training and development

Full training on tools, product knowledge and internal systems will be provided, including a handover period with current placement students. In addition to this, Elanco run a formal internship scheme across the business in which training and development is supported through an annual curriculum.
